Synopsis

Kate and Finn make progression using the internet. Max's Valentine practical joke lands his dad in bother. Jas reprimands the new lifeguard at the pool.

Plot

Adam is the new lifeguard at the pool. His first day doesn't go too well as he is reprimanded by Jas for pumping muscle at the poolside, instead of watching the swimmers. With a little time, Adam and Jasmine build up a rapport. If his passion is for swimming and the ocean, will he find time for anything/anyone else? As soon as he sees Kate he asks Jasmine some questions, there seems to be something that intrigues him about her. Will history repeat itself...? Mr C is more than pleased when he receives a Valentine's card from an admirer, he thinks that this is Mrs R's way of showing him affection. Mrs R confronts Mr C about his idea of a Valentine - and Mr C is confused - didn't she send him one then? And then it clicks, they've been set up... again! However at least the prank has done the trick - and they are friends again. Tony is pleased to hear that Sol is applying for another job and is only too pleased to act as referee. He wouldn't mind Sol leaving - he's getting fed up of his dopey mates hanging round. Later, Finn and Carol make up and decide to rekindle their relationship with a night out. But his first priority is to meet up with Kate and see where's she's at in the laborious task of surfing web pages... until she stumbles on a David Johnson who owns a haulage yard in the North West... could this be her long lost dad?
