Synopsis
The motives for Gaz's attack are established. Archie's plan to reconcile Leila and Elliot result in him getting closer to Leila. Mercedes wonders if her marriage to Malachy has met an end.Plot
Anita panics when the police show up at Hollyoaks High School. Newt watches the officers walk down the corridors. Lauren hides Gaz's phone in her locker.
- One week ago:
Lauren, Newt and Anita break into the school at night. Mercedes falls over whilst chasing Gaz. Calvin comes to her rescue. Elliot refuses to speak to Leila. Newt finds "ur not alone" written on the whiteboard, but Lauren and Anita don't see it. Alone in another room, Lauren comes face-to-face with Gaz. Leila and Archie also clash. Calvin puts frozen peas on Mercedes's ankle. Anita is unsympathetic when she finds Gaz with her necklace and learns that he's been kicked out of home.
Cheryl applies as a barmaid at the SU Bar. Archie comforts Leila when she feels that her family has fallen apart. The teens have a near miss with school security. Anita finds keys to a holiday home in Wales in Nancy's drawer. She steals them in revenge for Nancy taking her grandmother's necklace from her. Gaz and Newt threaten each other. Calvin expresses his pessimistic view on relationships to Mercedes. Leila and Archie sleep together. Newt contemplates leaving Theresa for Anita. Gaz videos them kissing.
