Synopsis
Michaela tries to convince Mercedes to go to her second HIV test. Sarah issues Zoe an ultimatium: break up with Mike, or she will reveal all. Rhys is shocked to see how strong Hannah's relationship with Matt is.Plot
Newt and Lauren see in the New Year together in bed. Rhys and Hannah make a bet over their New Year's resolutions: to be more like each other. Sasha is cold towards Calvin. Cindy is perplexed by Rhys and Hannah's swapped personalities. Sasha confesses to Calvin that she did sleep with Nige for heroin. Ash is amused to find Michaela protesting outside the police station for Zak's release.
Calvin tells Sasha about Nige's death and she turns forgiving. Hannah receives a lot of male attention, to Rhys's annoyance. Calvin gives his and Carmel's savings to Nige's family. Anita is uncomfortable, continuing to have to play fake-girlfriend with Newt. Rhys tries to call the bet off but Hannah takes Matt upstairs. Sasha covers for Calvin with the money to Carmel.
Malachy and Mercedes return to the village. They immediately disagree on where to stay. Michaela hears a voicemail for Mercedes from the hospital about her next HIV test. Zoe and Sarah fall out. Rhys annoys Hannah with his pessimism over Matt. Archie refuses to let Mal into the halls. Kris later finds them fighting.
Sarah explodes at Zoe for Mike giving her £5,000 for her film project. Mike walks in on their argument and compares Sarah to Kathy. Michaela confronts Mercedes over the voicemail. Mal worries that Mercedes will leave him after the test. Sarah issues Zoe an ultimatum: leave Mike or she'll reveal the truth. Sarah is stunned to learn that Mike and Zoe are going travelling together. Mercedes worries about her future.Cast
