Synopsis

Darren starts to get cold feet on the day of Jack's funeral. Eddie's discovery puts Calvin's job at risk. Myra is alarmed at the mentions of Martin Brownlow at the funeral.

Plot

Ruth Osborne arrives at The Dog in the Pond and gives Frankie a hug. Jack tells Darren what to say in his speech. Eddie tells Calvin that he caught him with heroin. Frankie is concerned about Newt whilst Darren's behaviour worries Ruth. The Valentines are furious with Calvin. Jack's hearse pulls into The Dog carpark. Newt can't bring himself to attend the funeral. Calvin begs Eddie to keep quiet.

Darren gets overwhelmed during the speech and Tony has to take over. Myra gets upset when Superintendent Lacey talks about his and Jack's first big arrest - Martin Brownlow. Carmel packs her bags and leaves Calvin. Newt tells Frankie that he killed Jack and asks Lacey to arrest him. Myra tells Kieron that Martin was the father of her son. Darren meets with Jack at the burial site. Jack convinces him that they're too far in to tell the truth now.
