Synopsis

Mike erupts at Ste when he blames Amy for his behaviour. Darren struggles with the truth. Steph and Mandy get fed up with Cindy, whilst Russ pushes Tina to pursue her dreams.

Plot

Myra has taken Amy in. Darren returns to a frosty reception at The Dog in the Pond. Steph and Mandy are short fused with a slacking Cindy. Malachy receives a letter from 'Eamon'. Frankie tells Darren to move out. Myra tells Amy about her first love Martin Brownlow. Russ encourages Tina to follow her wishes to become a teacher. Steph worries about Darren. Tina tells Mike that Amy is staying with them. Malachy plans to leave the village.

Myra tells Tina that she 'lost' her first baby, letting her believe she miscarried. Mike is suspicious over Amy's bruises, which are confirmed when she flinches at him raising his arm. Darren tries to tell Frankie the truth but backs out. She apologises for her behaviour and asks him to stay. Mike explodes when Ste blames Amy for his behaviour and gives him a beating.
