Synopsis[]
Jack's friends and family are unaware of his mental state as he makes an extreme decision. Kris gives up on his father for good. Eli remains a bad influence on Newt, whilst Myra is furious to learn of John Paul and Kieron's reconciliation.
Plot[]
Kris and Elliot argue. Myra is pleased to have John Paul back, unaware of Kieron's return. Nancy is annoyed that Jack wants Newt to stay with her. Zak tries to convince Eamon to see Kris. The villagers pay extra at The Dog in the Pond to help with the financial problems. Jack looks through a photo album before leaving Frankie a voicemail. He goes down to the pub and hugs Darren. Nancy and Russ are unsure on how to deal with Newt. Kris implores Eamon to accept him but Eamon refuses and makes plans to leave.
Jack sits at the coffee table with a bottle of whiskey and containers of pills, writing a letter. Myra explodes at John Paul and Kieron. Kris tries to make up with Elliot. Newt's behaviour continues to cause concern. Darren sends a drunken Eamon home. Darren is left stunned by Mercedes's generosity. Eamon staggers through the car park and collapses between two cars. Jack begins taking pills.
