Synopsis
Max and Steph are finally married, but tragedy strikes when Niall speeds towards Tom in his car, and Max is fatally struck saving Tom. Kieron struggles with the secret of his affair with John Paul being public.Plot
Myra runs out of the church, ignoring Kieron's apologies and John Paul's explanation. Steph is upset as the wedding has been ruined. Max is adamant on marrying Steph. O.B. tells Kieron that he needs to marry Steph and Max, as Max deserves a wedding. Jacqui is furious, whilst Myra is upset. She wants John Paul to leave. The ceremony continues and Steph says her vows. Tony is amused to see Darren upset. Max says his vows, Steph is touched by them. Max and Steph kiss as everyone applaud. Niall tries to comfort an upset John Paul. Frankie is still angry about Myra. Max is not pleased to see that Angela has dragged Cindy to the reception. Kieron blames himself, he thinks that he has lost everything.Jack is grateful for Steph letting him walk her down the aisle. O.B. makes his best man speech. Niall has flashbacks to his relationship with Steph, staring at the wedding present he has bought for her. O.B. says that Gordon would be delighted by Max marrying Steph. Cindy flirts with Niall, he turns her down. Dom videos everyone at the wedding. Darren and Cindy bicker. Steph makes a speech. Myra and Jacqui have a disagreement over Kieron and John Paul's relationship. Mandy vents about Myra, unaware Tina has been standing behind her. Tina throws a drink over Mandy to Cindy's amusement. Cindy makes a comment and Mandy throws a drink over her. Max has bought Steph a jukebox. Max has also bought O.B. a watch. Max and O.B. start to wrap up Steph's present. Max and O.B. start to wrap up Steph's present.
Niall speeds down the streets in his car. Steph is looking for Max, Frankie convinces her to throw the bouquet. Niall stops the car and has more flashbacks to him, Steph and Myra. Tom plays with his toy. Steph looks at her wedding ring. Niall turns the car back on and decides to crash into the wall. Max notices Niall and runs out after Tom, shoving him out of the way as he is struck by Niall's car. Niall's car skids and crashes into a wall. O.B. rushes over to Max, who has blood pouring from his ear. Niall struggles to get out of the car as everyone races over to the scene. O.B. comforts Max. Niall calls for an ambulance. Max tells O.B. to tell Steph that today was the best day of his life. He tells O.B. that he loves him, and dies in O.B.'s arms. Tom pleads with O.B. to make Max wake up. Steph is distraught to see Max dead.
