Synopsis
Sol receives a call from Mandy, but nobody believes him. Lucy starts to feel rejected by her family. Carol worries about her unsuccessful love life.Plot
D.S. Green enters the interview room to speak with Sol. Lewis continues in his search of Mandy. Jude samples wines for the restaurant. Sol tells Jack that he has been honest with the police about the car theft and has ended up in further trouble. Jack says that he doesn't stand a chance if he is caught lying to the police. As soon as he says that Paul was in the car and not Mandy, then he can't be accused of killing her. Lucy struggles to get along with Mrs. Benson and Kurt at work. Jude tells Carol tells Jude that she bought the wines from France from duty-free. Carol points out that selling the wine is illegal.
Lucy is annoyed as she is not allowed to be part of the presentation, in favour of "the golden boy". Sol tells D.S. Green that he stole the car but Paul was in with him. She is suspicious of Paul's connection to Mandy as Sol has kept his name out of the investigation for so long. Jude enjoys teasing Finn. D.S. Green questions Paul. He lies that he did not get into the car with Sol, let alone even see him. D.S. Green informs Sol that his statement does not match with Paul's but they do not have any more questions. Dennis angrily tells Lewis of Sol's release. Paul angrily confronts Sol talking to the police. Sol receives a call from Mandy, she is in London. She refuses to return home and hangs up. Sol informs Jack of the call. Jack prepares to call D.S. Green, but Sol wants to tell her face-to-face.
Lucy tells Carol that she feels like Kurt is closer to their parents than she is. Sol tells D.S. Green about the call. He says that he was going to call 1471, but was interrupted by a call from the brewery. D.S. Green thinks that the story is convenient. Jill and Jack are left equally furious by D.S. Green jumping to conclusions. Carol vents about her love life to Lucy, she thinks Carol should try a dating agency. Sol pays Dennis a visit. He says that Mandy phoned him. Sol makes clear that he knows the full truth, and won't tell him where she is. Sol tells Lewis that Mandy called him - she said to tell Lewis that she is in London and won't come home because of Dennis. He points out that something bad must have happened if she would rather be on the streets than at home.Cast
