Plot

Amy prepares to leave hospital. The McQueens decorate the house for Mercedes's birthday party. Josh prepares for his court appearance. Tom stares at a photograph of Mr. and Mrs. C. Kathy and Sarah don't think Amy is well enough to be appearing in court. Kathy fusses over Amy. Amy is harsh towards her and Sarah. Tom reads a poem to Max and Clare. John Paul allows Craig to stay with him. John Paul and Craig invite Sarah and Hannah to Mercedes's party. Amy thanks Josh for getting Ste arrested. Suzanne sends Josh to the car so she can talk to Amy. Clare gets a call from Warren - the DJ is refuses to play unless Clare is there. Jacqui thinks that Michaela will get off lightly, she also gives Michaela advise on how to make the court go even easier on her. Jacqui wants to go to court with Michaela, but Myra says that she is going. Amy, Fletch, Josh and their families are waiting outside the courtroom when Myra and Michaela arrive. Kathy picks a fight with Suzanne. They are called into the courtroom.

Josh, Amy, Michaela and Fletch have received three month referral orders. Warren flirts with Clare. He tries to tempt her into taking cocaine instead of going to Tom's show. Mercedes and Jacqui bicker. Clare and Warren have gotten high. Clare informs John Paul that she is considering cancelling his gigs. John Paul is disappointed and Hannah, Craig and Sarah try to comfort him. Sarah makes clear that she blames Michaela for the crash. John Paul is angry with Sarah. Michaela rejects a call from Amy. Kathy is furious to learn that Amy has tried to call Michaela. Amy storms off. Tom is upset about Clare not attending the show, and that O.B. couldn't come instead.

Craig apologises to Sarah and they kiss. Hannah kisses John Paul but he ends up pulling away. Hannah tries to comfort John Paul but he is ungrateful and she storms off. Jacqui tries to comfort Michaela. Myra has gotten drunk. Myra gives Russ money to treat Mercedes with a holiday. Max is furious with an apologetic Clare. Max thinks Clare is drunk. She admits that she had a bottle of wine with Warren. He asks how many times she will need to say sorry, and thinks that she planned the whole thing to get out of seeing the show. Clare is left feeling guilty. Amy arrives to see Michaela. Michaela is cold towards a guilty Amy and says that she wants nothing more to do with Amy. Amy walks home, upset about the argument.
