Episode 1889 is an episode of Hollyoaks which aired on Wednesday 18th October 2006.

Synopsis

Nancy and Becca are shocked when Becca is arrested for engaging in sexual activity with a child under the age of sixteen. Ste convinces Amy, Josh and Fletch to go joyriding in Neville's car with him. Mercedes and Jacqui meet with Davey, whilst Kathy informs her family that she is leaving.

Plot

Becca receives a bouquet of flowers from Justin. Mercedes and Jacqui count the money, and hide it from Myra. Becca throws the flowers in the bin. Amy ignores a call from Ste. Becca worries about Justin. There is a knock at the door - it's Foz. He has his college interview today, and Nancy jokes about his attire. Amy is rude with Mike. She is snarky when Amy refuses to come home after school as Kathy is visiting. Myra realises that Mercedes and Jacqui are hiding something from her, but they refuse to tell her what. Becca tells Jake about her and Justin's split. Josh shows Fletch a pornographic film he has purchased and disguised.

Jake offers to be a friend for a worried Becca. Jake says that he has forgiven Becca, everything has changed. Becca tells Jake that the affair was not worth the outcome. Davey is late for his meeting with Mercedes and Jacqui. Foz has been accepted onto the course. Foz reveals that he is also going to be a part-time lecturer. Nancy is not impressed. Ste wants to take Neville's car out for a spin. Josh convinces Fletch to go with Ste and Amy. Davey and Jake almost fight when Davey bumps into Jake. Fletch is annoyed when Josh and Amy encourage Ste. Kathy finally arrives, and she and Mike are awkward with each other. Sarah is civil, but also awkward with her.

Davey finally arrives at The Loft. Mercedes struggles to understand how Jacqui dated Davey. Ste invites Amy out, which she accepts. Kathy reveals that she is selling the house and moving in with her mother down south. Mike is shocked to overhear. Foz tells Becca of Nancy's reaction, and Becca offers to try talk to her. Davey flirts with Jacqui. He pays Jacqui and Mercedes as they leave. Sarah tells Kathy that Amy got drunk. He is worried as Amy doesn't listen to him anymore. Kathy offers to talk to Amy. Sarah upsets Kathy and she leaves. Becca answers the door to D.C. Mullins and D.C. Crawford, they are looking for her. They arrest her on suspicion of engaging in sexual activity with a child under the age of sixteen. Nancy is horrified. Mike and Sarah are furious with Amy. Nancy calls Foz. Justin watches as Becca is taken away in a police car.
