Synopsis
John Paul encourages Craig to stand up to Sonny, but it results in a fight between the pair in the changing rooms. Amy is upset by her family falling apart, and tells Michaela that she is still pregnant. Clare is shocked to find the flat in a state after Tom and Max's party.Plot
Sarah is cold towards Kathy, and Amy is upset by the state of her family. Mike wakes in Washed Up. Clare is pleased to see Max. Kathy snaps at Sarah and Amy. Sarah explodes at Kathy when she blames Mike. Max is busy with other matters so Clare decides to go work at The Loft without him. She tells John Paul to arrive at the club on Thursday at 10pm, she refuses to question him on whether he is suitable for the job as per Warren's suggestion. Clare hasn't told Max about Warren taking drugs in the office. Michaela is cold towards John Paul when Craig tells her of his new job.Amy and Sarah argue. Amy blames her for Mike and Kathy's split, telling Sarah that if she hadn't used Gilly to get back at Rhys, their parents wouldn't have split. Sarah notices the tension between Michaela and Amy. Clare makes Warren promise not to take any more drugs, and inform the police of any more discoveries. Warren taunts Clare over their one night stand. Amy tries to apologise to Michaela, but Michaela is ungrateful. Sarah is furious when Kathy turns up at school. Michaela is shocked to learn that Mike has left. Craig is furious to discover that Sonny is also at the football try-outs, and that his clothes have been mixed up in the wash. The coach, Mr. Pavey, tells Craig to stop talking and get changed. He makes a comment about the poor state of Sonny's kit.
Sarah visits Mike. She is horrified to discover that Mike slept at the laundromat. Sonny pushes Craig over, and Mr. Pavey tells him to get up. Michaela tells Amy that she misses her father sometimes. She worries that her mother will find someone else, who Michaela won't like. John Paul is annoyed that Craig is "letting" Sonny push him around. John Paul thinks that Craig should hit Sonny back. Michaela flirts with Sonny. John Paul stops Michaela by embarrassing her in front of Sonny. Kathy is surprised when Sarah backs her up, but turns on her when Kathy snaps at Sarah. She informs Kathy that Mike has rented a flat. Michaela and John Paul argue. Sarah informs Kathy that Mike is living at 1 Oakdale Drive. Kathy and Sarah have an explosive argument, and Sarah slaps Kathy before storming off.
Sonny and Craig have an argument when Sonny blames Craig for his failure. Sonny winds up Craig, who punches him. Sonny punches Craig back and they fight. Mr. Pavey has to separate them, and tells them that he is getting the headteacher involved. Sonny thinks that Mrs. Webster will take Sonny's side. Sarah wants to move in with Mike, and tries to convince Amy to do the same. Kathy warns Sarah that if she leaves, then she can't come back. Sarah says goodbye to Amy and leaves. Max and the kids have a water-gun fight. Clare tells Warren that Max was considering getting rid of him, but she changed his mind. Michaela tries to comfort Amy. She feels like her family is falling apart and she is being ignored. She tells Michaela that she couldn't go through with the abortion. Michaela thinks that she should tell someone. Amy says that she has nobody to turn to. Clare arrives home to find the flat in an absolute mess.
