Synopsis
Clare is left running scared after discovering the evidence that O.B., Mel and Sophie have against her. Craig, Steph and Darren are left running The Dog in the Pond after Jake, who was left in charge, ends up getting drunk. Olivia finally gains the courage to stand up to Jess, but all are left shocked when Sam bursts into the pub, armed with a petrol canister and lighter!Plot
Sam plays with a lighter. He looks at a frightened Nicole. Mel watches Clare walk past and smirks. Olivia tries to get into the bathroom, but is narrowly beat by Jess and Zoe. Frankie tells Steph and Craig that Jack is taking her out to dinner, to his surprise. Jack says that he is unavailable due to karaoke night, to which Frankie suggests that Jake could run karaoke night. Jake reluctantly agrees. Sam thinks that Sophie reported him to the police so she could get with Russ. He thinks they were laughing at him. He accuses Nicole and everyone else of being on Russ and Sophie's side. He vows to make them pay. Mel tells O.B. that she saw Clare and Sean together - on the CCTV monitor!Kris tells Olivia to "live a little", to go to The Dog in the Pond despite being barred. Kris thinks that Jess takes advantage of Olivia, but Olivia disagrees. Joe decides against going out, and invites Zoe out. Kris flips a coin to decide whether to go to The Dog or the SU Bar. Russ is cold towards Mercedes when she teases him over his relationship with Sophie. She starts to flirt with him. Mel isn't pleased when Sophie reveals that she asked Russ about moving in with them. Louise thinks living with a man is a bad idea. Mel tries to get the CCTV footage, but she can't whilst Louise is at the desk. Sophie gets another mysterious call. Sam starts to get threatening with Nicole. Leo invites Calvin out for a drink. Calvin says that they can't go to The Dog in the Pond. They argue over Diane. Clare winds up O.B. He tells her to meet him in The Dog in the Pond later, to tell her what he knows.
Nicole refuses to tell Sam where Russ and Sophie are. Craig is relieved when Steph finally joins him behind the bar. He is furious to learn that Jake is drunk. He decides to call Darren. Joe tells Zoe that he has made a mistake wanting to only be friends with her, and wants to be more. Zoe thinks that he is joking. Mel sneaks into the office to get the CCTV disk. Sophie tells Louise that Russ is different, she thinks that she should spend the rest of her life with him. She is unaware that he is currently having sex with Mercedes. Mel quickly grabs the disk before Louise returns to the office. Sam threatens to hold Nicole's head in a container of water if she doesn't tell him where Russ and Sophie are. She tells him that they're meeting at The Dog in the Pond later.
Jess awfully performs "...Baby One More Time" on the karaoke machine. Jessica is upset when Kris criticises her karaoke performance, and Joe refuses to move from her seat. She is annoyed when Olivia doesn't defend her. Olivia offers her her seat, but says "as if" and sits back down. Jessica insults Olivia and the pair get confrontational. Jessica storms off when Olivia explodes at her. Kris, Joe and Zoe are impressed. Russ panics when he realises that he is almost late for his date with Sophie. Darren is annoyed when he realises that Craig has called him to help behind the bar on karaoke night. Mel has been able to get the disk and O.B. is delighted. Steph and Craig are furious with a drunk Jake. Darren flirts with Zoe and asks for her number. She writes down something offensive and Craig is amused. Calvin arrives at the pub.
Russ arrives home to hear Nicole's cries and finding her tied up behind the sofa. She tells him that Sam is back. He is on his way to The Dog in the Pond. Clare arrives at The Dog in the Pond. O.B., Mel and Sophie tease Clare over being unfaithful. Clare is nervous when they reveal that they can prove that Clare slept with Warren. She tries to call their bluff, and storms off when O.B. continues to wind her up. Steph finds Jake asleep on the couch. A mystery figure walks past Clare and waits for her to storm off. O.B. worries that Max is going to turn on him even more for ruining his marriage. Sophie points out that Clare ended her own marriage. Craig thinks that Calvin has arrived looking for trouble. Mel and O.B. prepare to leave to watch the DVD. Sophie gets a phone call and is horrified to hear Sam on the other end of the line! Sam bursts into the pub, having started a fire, screaming at everyone to get back. Craig hides behind the bar, and Sam shouts at Craig to not think about going anywhere. Joe, Zoe, Olivia and Kris try to leave, only to find that the exit is blocked. Everyone is in a panic as they try to escape. Sophie asks Sam what he has done.
