Synopsis
Mandy and Tony go out, leaving Nancy and Hannah to look after Grace, but heartbreak awaits when Mandy returns home to find Grace not breathing. Liz gives up on Mel, and tells her to pack her bags and leave. Justin and Becca decide to run away together.Plot
Mel sits on the stairs where Sophie fell. Liz waits at the hospital bed. A man sweeps up the broken glass. Tony and Mandy play with Grace. Becca worries over the pregnancy. Mandy puts Grace to bed. Nancy arrives and Tony agrees to let Hannah help. Sophie has a concussion and a sprained arm. She and Liz have decided to stop helping Mel. Liz wants to throw Mel out of the house, but Sophie thinks it's a bad idea. Becca is cold towards Justin, until he tells her about Sophie. Becca reveals that Nicole knows about their affair. Mandy is excited for her and Tony going on a date. Mel hides from Liz as she goes to visit Sophie. Mel is shocked when she sees the state of Sophie. Tony and Mandy fantasise about their future. Nancy tells Hannah that she doesn't want to marry or have kids until she is 30. Hannah subtly tries to find out if Nancy knows about Becca and Justin's affair.Becca is annoyed when she discovers Justin knew. He promises to change Nicole's mind, but Becca worries that Nicole or Tony might let slip. Becca wants to end their affair. Mel apologises to a sleeping Sophie. Mel vows to get her life sorted. Sophie reveals that she has heard the whole thing. Nancy accidentally knocks over the baby monitor, and is unaware. Becca and Justin continue to argue. She thinks that her and Justin being together would be impractical. Mandy and Tony leave the restaurant, having had a nice time. Sophie is unconvinced that Mel can change. Liz is unsympathetic. Hannah and Nancy panic when Tony and Mandy return home early. Hannah informs them that Grace did not wake up at all. Tony goes to take Nancy and Hannah home.
Justin tries to convince Becca to choose him over Jake. Becca cannot deny that she does not want Justin. Liz tells Mel to pack a bag and leave. Sophie has changed her mind about throwing Sophie out. Liz picks up Sophie's bag and a bottle falls out. Mel swears that she hasn't drunk anything since Sophie's fall. Liz tells her to leave. Justin and Becca plan to tell everyone. Justin wants to tell the head teacher that he was "chasing after" Becca. Becca continues to say that they cannot be together, but changes her mind and decides that they should run away from the village, Justin agrees. Mel leaves the hospital in tears. Becca decides to pack her things. Mandy goes to check on Grace, and panics. Grace is unconscious. She bursts into tears and races out of the house with Grace. Tony is taking money out of an ATM for Nancy and Hannah when a screaming Mandy comes racing down the stairs. Tony rushes over to Mandy and Nancy and Hannah worry. Tony shouts for someone to call an ambulance.
