Synopsis
Tom is left ill after drinking out of Mel's cola can (laced with vodka), and Max and O.B. are left furious. Sarah is upset when Rhys breaks up with her, unaware Kathy has blackmailed him into doing so. Joe tries to, but fails to tell Jez about the credit card scam. Darren and Craig fight over a group of girls in The Dog in the Pond.Plot
Rhys answers the door to Sarah. O.B. gives Max a letter from Cindy, asking for Tom to visit. Joe wakes up suddenly, looks at the laptop and goes back to bed. Darren and Craig don't believe when Jack complains about leg pain, but when Craig goe to help, he jumps up and scares him. Sarah wants to tell Rhys that she wants to be with him, but he prepares to tell her that he slept with Kathy. Sarah arranges a date and refuses to take no for an answer. Rhys wants to break the news to her but Sarah refuses to let him talk. O.B. vents to Mel about Max and Clare sleeping together. He suddenly changes his tune and tells Max, out of earshot of Mel, that he plans to make a move on her. Joe is nervous around Jez in his bedroom.Darren and Craig complain at the lack of attractive women at The Dog in the Pond, and Jack says that the place needs attractive men to bring the attractive women. Rhys waits in the pool for Sarah. She informs him that there has been a change of plans - Kathy has turned up. Kathy is furious to learn that Sarah is on a date with Rhys. Mel switches out a can of cola with vodka when O.B. is distracted. Joe prepares to tell Jez the truth and give the computer back, but he is left distracted and changes his mind. O.B. prepares to make a move on Mel. When Mel is distracted, Tom takes a drink from her cola can. Kathy confronts Rhys. She can't forget what happened. She tells Rhys to make Sarah listen. Rhys says that Kathy is not a good mother, which makes her snap at him.
Craig and Darren get dressed up, only to find The Dog in the Pond full of OAPs. Suddenly, a group of girls arrive and Craig and Darren are all over them. Kathy threatens to stand in the way of Rhys and Kathy's relationship. Rhys makes out that Kathy has too much to lose, but Kathy is confident Mike would forgive her. Tom feels unwell and is sick, Mel realises that Tom has drunk her "cola". Kathy and Sarah have an argument. Joe wants to tell Jez the truth, but talks himself out of doing so. Kathy continues to harass Rhys. An argument ensues between the pair. Darren flirts with two girls but they are unimpressed. Darren tries flirting with another girl who walks away. He manages to charm another, but Craig has taken a liking to her and steps in. The woman walks off when Craig and Darren fight over her.
Tom feels dizzy and Max thinks they should take Tom to the hospital. Kathy is pleased when Rhys breaks up with Sarah. Sarah is upset and pleads with Rhys not to leave her. Rhys makes his fury with Kathy clear. Darren and Craig argue. They start insulting Jack's love life and Jack points out that the girls have left. Max asks if Tom drank out of O.B.'s beer, he says that he drank out of Mel's cola. Clare tastes the can - there's vodka inside. Max snaps at Mel, he has to take Tom to hospital. O.B. and Clare are also annoyed with Mel. Kathy comforts Sarah. Max explodes at Mel. She refuses to accept that she is an alcoholic. O.B. can't believe that Mel sat and said nothing when they were wondering what Tom drank. They throw her out of the flat.
