Synopsis
After the wedding it's back to The Dog in the Pond for a good old knees-up. Craig has a little chuckle to himself as he watches the happy couples drive off to the same hotel. Darlene tells Justin she knows he was involved - if the police find the knife with his fingerprints on it, he'll be going down for murder.Plot
Frankie and Jack arrive at the wedding reception, followed by Jake and Becca. Debbie asks the vicar what he wears when not working. Jake tells Becca that their middle names are their parents first names. Ben nearly chokes on his drink when Becca reveals that her middle name is actually after Margaret Thatcher. Becca also tells him that Nancy is named after Nancy Reagan. Darlene is upset after reading Ali's exam results. She tells Justin that she has already lost her brother, and is about to lose another. Ben tells Debbie about Arthur.
Darlene tells Richard that if he is lying about the affair, she will reveal all to Liz. Ben makes a speech at the wedding, mentioning Dan before speaking highly of Jake and Becca. Justin searches for the knife he had hidden, only to find the area cordoned off, and D.S. Simpson waiting for him. Frankie confesses to the vicar, who informs her that her marriage may be invalidated to her horror. Ben prepares to see Emma. He has to leave Lisa a message as she doesn't answer her phone. The vicar tells Jack that Frankie fell for the joke. Nancy and Steph bicker.
Liz and Richard argue in front of Darlene. D.S. Simpson questions Justin. Simpson tells Justin that his prints were on the knife. Lisa tries to call Ben in the flat, but receives no response. Jake informs Becca that he's taking her to The Waverly Hotel, unaware that Becca's parents are also staying there! Jack informs Frankie that he is cancelling their booking at The Waverly Hotel. Nancy and Steph have started getting along. Jack tells Frankie about the joke. Liz explodes at Darlene, and Darlene reveals the affair. Nancy and Steph end up catching the bouquets. The newlyweds leave for the hotel. Charles and Margaret drunkenly sing karaoke with the vicar. D.S. Simpson arrests Justin for the murder of Stephen Mackintosh.Cast
