Synopsis
Plot
Becca reads about Ali and Macki's deaths in The Chester Herald. Sam wakes in bed to find Steph laying next to him. Ben answers the door to Lisa. Jake cannot get a loan and Frankie gives him advice to break the news to Becca. Zara and Jez are cold towards Joe. Lisa tries to convince Ben to see a counsellor. Becca feels bad that she and Jake will be celebrating as Justin and his family will be grieving. Russ and Dannii are amused to find that Sam has spent the night with Steph. Becca decides to see Frankie, who wants to talk about the wedding. Steph is confused as to why Sam is uncomfortable around her. Dannii, Russ and Steph decide to go to Il Gnosh, and Russ forces Sam to join.
Becca is uncomfortable to see Frankie redecorating The Dog in the Pond, and even more so when Frankie reveals that Craig has contacted the local newspaper about the double wedding. Becca is horrified when she accidentally breaks a bride-and-groom ornament. Callum is delighted to see that Ben has returned to the fire service. Zara and Jez have planned their revenge on Joe. He leaves a sexy voicemail for a woman he met at the festival. Jake is in a bad mood as he cannot get a mortgage. Sam is secretive over his night with Steph. Jake and Becca have a disagreement over looking for their own place. Sam wants to leave, but Russ tells him that he cannot leave until Steph says so.
Zara and Jez have had Joe's voicemail sent to Radio 3; Scott Mills says on air that his "punishment is on it's way". Lisa asks Ben about the interview with his boss. Joe is horrified as his voicemail is played on air. Scott says that the woman has been in touch, and told them that "one night with [Joe] is punishment enough". Jake blames himself as he hadn't taken on his parents' mortgage, he wouldn't have been seen as a risk. He and Becca end up arguing. Steph compliments Sam, she flirts with him but he turns her down. She is still confused by his behaviour, especially as she tries to kiss him and he runs off.Cast
