Synopsis
Jake is just about managing to keep up with the Haytons when the unthinkable happens, the Deans roll up in Craig's limo. Despite her better instincts, Sophie is trying to cover for Mel. Joe is annoyed with himself for letting his work slip. Steph is delighted when Nancy recognises her from the Prunella billboards.Plot
Mel wakes up ill. Joe and Dannii are in bad moods and irritate Jez by getting no work done. Mrs. Hayton takes a liking to Jake but Mr. Hayton is still hard to convince. Jake is mortified when the Deans - dressed to the nines with their belonings in bin bags - arrive in Craig's limousine. Liz kicks Mel and Sophie out of the house for the day as she thinks that Mel is hungover. Frankie makes Mr. and Mrs. Hayton uncomfortable. Nancy delights in revealing that Steph was a model for laxatives.
Sophie admits to Liz that Mel took a morning-after pill. Liz is enraged. Steph, Craig and Frankie plot to make the Haytons pay for an expensive wedding. Jake is mortified when Frankie tries too hard. Jez finds a fashion design competition for J.C. Nightingale Department Store but Joe refuses to submit his designs. Liz forces Mel to have an STI check. Frankie argues with the Haytons over the wedding location, whilst Nancy and Steph argue over who will be chief bridesmaid.
Dannii forces Joe to enter the competition. Frankie offers to pay for half the wedding as agreed, but feels too proud to back down. Mr. Hayton suggests that they cover the ceremony and the Deans cover the reception. Mel finds out her test results on Monday. Dannii models for Joe and gives him his confidence back. Frankie gets drunk and reveals Jake's affair and the STD to the Haytons.Cast
