Synopsis
Mandy and Tony have their very own virtual baby. Joe and Jez have to find themselves somewhere to stay next year after they lose their place in halls. It's Lee's big day for his prize giving at college, but Lisa's problems are overshadowing him. Darren wonders how he got himself involved in the charity bike race, but is horrified when he realises just how far it is.Plot
Mandy makes a young boy cry by waving at him and begins worrying that Max is right about her being a bad mother. Joe and Jez learn that they have no accomodation for next year. Sally and Les place Lisa under a curfew. Jack is amazed to learn that Darren is facing Russ in a charity bike race. Sally forces Lisa to attend Lee's prizegiving. Russ delights in telling Darren that the race is 200 miles. Tony collects the practice baby. Mandy is adamant on calling it 'Ethan'. Russ baits Jack and Craig into also joining the race.
Liz refuses to help Joe and Jez as the Hall of Residence has been fully booked since December 2004. Tony and Mandy give Max the difficulty setting remote for the fake baby to avoid their own temptation. Craig finds a loophole in the race and plans to race with a motorbike. Lee leaves the prizegiving with ten of the twelve awards. Joe can't find any alternative accomodation. Jez charms Liz into adding him to the 'special circumstances' residencies list and manages to convince her add Joe too. Max gets revenge on a bragging Tony by increasing the baby's difficulty.Cast
