Synopsis
Having played the role of dutiful guardians over the past few days, the hour is looming when Max and O.B. are going to have to hand custodianship of Tom back to his legally charged mentor. Funnily enough, parting with the lad is quite the last thing either of the pair would like to do, having grown particularly fond of Max's young brother and his eccentric ways. With Mandy back from her holiday the duo have little choice but to relinquish supervision of Tom, but Max has come to appreciate O.B. being around all the time, ostensibly to share the burden of playing father but also as company within Mr. C's cavernous house. He knows he can't do anything about holding onto Tom - Mandy's in no mood for compromise, as ever - but Max figures there's no reason not to give up everything he's come to appreciate. Why not see if he can't persuade O.B. to hold off packing his stuff for a little while? It's a delicate request for two people with as much emotional baggage as these two.Plot
