Synopsis
After a particularly bleak winter, the residents of the Hollyoaks village are desperately hoping for a prosperous and peaceful spring. They should know better than that - with Dan's court case looming, Max and Cindy at each other's throats over the future of the Cunningham empire, never mind the matter of Ben and Izzy's faltering marriage, the chances of any kind of thawing on the horizon seem pretty remote. Abby views the season as an opportunity to re-kindle relations with Lee. Now, given the sprawling history between these two, a smooth reconciliation is surely out of the question. But it's Abby's 18th birthday in a few weeks, and perhaps that's the ideal time for a suitable gesture of rapprochement - like a quiet dinner for two, followed by... an exclusive solo performance by a reformed X Factor! Then there's the sight of Frankie and Debbie presenting themselves as prospective employees at Washed Up; Natalie developing a crush on a highly unlikely subject; Ellie returning from foreign climes ready to testify against her own brother; plus a mystery website doing the rounds that's turning heads as well as stomachs.
