Synopsis
Jude opens up to Lewis, and he gives her advice on how to re-connect with her family. Bazz and Lucy decide to make their relationship official. Tony is annoyed when Julie's mother takes over their wedding plans. Jambo struggles as Lisa says that they need to end their affair.Plot
Bazz and Lucy are slightly awkward with each other. She doesn't think the kiss meant anything in his eyes. She is surprised when he wants to be more than just friends with her. Carol interrupts and tells Lucy and Bazz that Anita dumped a bucket of fish over Jambo's head. Jude asks Lewis if Maddie has allowed her to stay with them. Lewis reminds her that he 'holds the rentbook' so he decides who is allowed to stay. Lewis says that he has talked Maddie round, saying that Jude can be their "guard dog". Tony is not comfortable when Julie wants to make a list of wedding presents to give to everyone. He begins to get annoyed as he feels like Julie's mother has taken over the plans and pushed him out. He continues to get angry when he goes through the To Do list, only to find that Maureen is doing it all. Home by herself, Jude takes a bottle of vodka out from her bag. Lucy worries about Bazz, but Bazz and Carol are insistent that he is fine. Jude tries to buy a can of soft drink on Lewis's tab, but Julie says that Lewis has not got a tab so Jude will have to pay.Tony reveals to Julie that he has finished making the wedding cake and shows her the bride & groom figurines. Julie informs him that Maureen has ordered a cake, and refuses to ask her to cancel. He is angry and storms off. Jude is drunk and she cannot unlock the door for Lewis. Lucy says that she wants to give their relationship a go. They kiss. Lewis is annoyed when Jude refuses to help herself. He tells her that, in that case, she will need to leave. Lucy is confused as Bazz came out to her, and now they're together. Jude thinks that her family hate her, Lewis is unsympathetic. Jude tells him of her parents' split. She felt ignored as nobody told her about the split, and Angela was too busy with Max and Cindy to acknowledge her. Then Dawn got pregnant, so she got a load of attention too. Lewis says that the pregnancy and split must have been tough for Dawn. Jude explodes, saying how the "prodigal daughter" gets all of the sympathy whereas Jude is demonised. Lewis continues to be unsympathetic, telling her about his abusive father. She is scared as she feels like everything has spun out of control, and bursts into tears. Lewis comforts her.
Dawn is shocked to learn of what Anita did to Jambo. Dawn and Carol are concerned about Maddie. Jude says that her family ignoring her prompted her to move to London. She makes her hatred for Jack clear, she doesn't think she deserves what has happened for telling Mrs. Osborne the truth about Beth. Lewis suggests talking to her family, Jude says that Angela gets defensive and they argue. He allows her to stay on the condition that she speaks to her father. Carol is suspicious to see how close Jambo and his step-mother are. She tries to guilt-trip Lewis into hiring the Crazy Bazz Studs. He agrees to think about it, and she delightedly goes to tell people. He says that he needs to find refreshments. Dawn says that it is not her problem, to which Lewis says that Jude mustn't be her problem either. Lisa and Jambo agree to forget their secret. She feels guilty for splitting Jambo and Anita. Carol delightedly informs Bazz and Lucy that they're playing at the "tank-a-thon". Carol confronts Lucy over her and Bazz. Dawn is cold towards Jambo. Jambo feels guilty about his relationship with Lisa.
