Synopsis
Chloe's latest pet project, a new bar for the Student Union, looks set to give her plenty of scope for deploying her chief attribute: that unerring ability to attract misfortune. Having spent the bulk of the academic year to date grappling with those all-too familiar welfare issues, Chloe's pursuing her new interest in leisure amenities with surprising aplomb. It's still not quite clear what she stands to get out of her alcoholic adventure, or what it will add to the local community - other than an extra profusion of traffic cones and sore heads. Chloe's not worried, however, about the possibility of her plans and good intentions ending up in ruins: they already are. The site for the new bar is in a shocking state of disrepair, and with only a few days to go until the official opening it's evident somebody somewhere has got to pull their finger out. Still at least things can't get any worse - but then Becca shows up. After making the most of showing off what upholstery there is discernable amongst the rubble, Chloe realises that in her eagerness to display her latest venture she neglected to warn her companion of one small detail: the fact that the front door of the bar has no handle on it.Plot
