Episode 1181 is an episode of Hollyoaks which aired on Wednesday 4th February 2004.
Synopsis
At long last Toby is about to buried - but it's destined to be a rather sparse service, given the scores of people Ellie has offended over the past few weeks. The funerals of suspected serial killer are always somewhat poorly-attended affairs, but the low turnout for Toby's send-off must set a new record for the lowest congregation ever. The mourners comprise a paltry three: Les, Debbie, and Ellie. Even the vicar can't help but hide his bemusement, and wonder whether it's worth placing a call to Norris McWhirter. Neither Lee nor Lisa can bring themselves to attend the ceremony. The emotional turmoil recent events have unleashed upon the Hunter family has opened up giant fissures within their ranks, and not even the business of paying last respects to a deceased in-law is enough to resolve the differences. Quite why Debbie is gracing proceedings with her presence isn't entirely clear to anybody - although she's quick to hi-jack the service with some patented screeching and screaming, and then unburden herself to some waiting journalists outside the crematorium. One thing's clear: burying Toby Mills has certainly not put to rest the Hunter's travails; quite the opposite.Plot
