Synopsis
The odds of any of the Deans accidentally biting onto a shiny sixpence in their Yule plum duff is looking remote this year as money remains too tight to mention. The Dean kids go out and about trying to make ends meet on a limited budget like some modern-day gang of Victorian-style street urchins. While Debbie tries to scoop up some soiled mince pies from Drive 'n' Buy, Craig hits on a better plan to get a quick Christmas buck. It's not long before the three of them venture out into the public with a money-making scheme a-foot. But has Craig pushed it too far when he pretends to be collecting for charity? It's a turkey of a plan that's liable to stuff the whole family's hopes for a generous Christmas. And with tempers running high, who's going to get roasted first?Plot
