Episode 1149 is an episode of Hollyoaks which aired on Monday 22nd December 2003.
Synopsis
Almost two months have passed since Ellie plunged off a city centre building and into a deep coma, but her family are still waiting for the day when she'll wake up. So much remains to be settled regarding the circumstances surrounding Toby's death, not least the part played in his demise by his wife Ellie. As one of the chief witnesses to the tragic incident, she's in a crucial position to determine the future of Dan. Until she wakes up, however, nobody will really know what happened that terrible night. Ellie's family are desperate for her to show even the smallest sign of recovery, but when Les encourages Lee to talk to his sister he finds the prospect of conversing with an unconscious body almost too much to bear. Eventually he finds the confidence and nerve to start chatting to Ellie, and is shocked to see what looks like a small response - indeed, Ellie starts to move some of her limbs, and begins to show signs of coming back to life. Is this the first sign of a permanent recovery, or just a cruel glimpse of a false dawn?Plot
