Synopsis
Contrary to her mum's wishes, Mandy is determined that the ashes of her father, Dennis, are not going to be treated with the same dignity as those of her brother, Lewis. Now that her dad's reign of terror is well and truly over, she's set on making sure Dennis is consigned to oblivion on her own terms and nobody else's. Helen has a different view, perhaps not surprisingly. Fed up of her extended family behaving like a bunch of savages, she insists that Dennis merits a bit more respect than being dumped in a dustbin. While trying to build bridges with her daughter, she brings Dennis' urn inside and gives it a temporary home on her mantelpiece. This innocent act sends Mandy off into a whirlwind of anger and spite. It's almost as if her dad has become an invisible enemy, continuing to haunt her every move.Plot
