Synopsis
Dan stresses on the day of his court hearing. Izzy's hen do goes disastrously. Mel's pool protest turns out to be a failure, whilst Darren attempts to reconcile Max and O.B.Plot
Joe enjoys the protest at the pool. Izzy checks her, Chloe, Mandy and Becca into a posh hotel. Sally visits Dan in prison, he is worried about the hearing. She is confident that he will get bail. Mandy, Chloe and Becca worry about the prices of the hotel services. Darren advertises a special at The Dog in the Pond to the students, as the SU Bar may also get sold. Darren talks to Max, who is still enraged with O.B. Darren encourages him to stand up for himself. Dan worries as there is no change in Ellie's condition. He tries to change the topic to Debbie. Richard arrives at the pool to find Sophie leading the students to chant "save our pool".
Izzy is too busy pampering herself to focus on the girls at the hen do, so she leaves them at the pool. They have all had the same idea - they have brought bottles of wine! Darren subtly asks O.B. if he's missing Max. He asks if O.B. would like to go fishing. Dan wonders how long Ellie knew about Toby being a killer. A drunken Becca puts her foot in it by pointing out that Izzy was engaged to Tony who is now with Mandy, whilst Mandy was with Ben who is now with Izzy. Mandy and Izzy end up bickering over Tony. Richard tells the students of his plan for privatising the pool. He wants to update the pool and add a gym, juice bar and beauty treatment facilities, and even give the students a nominal fee.
Mandy is drunkenly mocking Izzy, who storms over. Becca tries to throw her off by mocking Chloe, but Izzy sees through her façade. Izzy accuses Mandy of being jealous, initiating an argument. Mandy asserts that she is not interested in Ben, to which Izzy says that she is only interested in her "mum's cast-offs". Mandy pushes her into the pool, and the hotel manager asks them to leave. Darren has set up Max and O.B. to meet together. They start arguing but both refuse to leave. Dan and Sally wait for the hearing. The court clerk calls Dan into the courtroom. Richard pitches his plan to the students, who start to take his side. Izzy explodes at her friends; Chloe says that Izzy was selfish - they couldn't afford any of the prices. They are sick of her selfishness as she continues to try defend herself, and storm off.
Max and O.B. mock each other. Mel is annoyed that she is the only one not on Richard's side. Robbie teases her so she pushes him into the pool. Izzy's friends are furious as her selfish behaviour continues. Max and O.B. start to get confrontational as Darren tries to separate them. They swing for each other but end up hitting Darren. Dan has been released on bail as Sally as paid the bail. A woman shouts at Dan and spits on him. Richard tells Mel that she can't stay angry forever - he is there to stay and she needs to get used to it.Cast
