Synopsis
Stuck on remand without having been convicted of anything, Dan's moods are turning blacker by the hour. Even though his case is due up for parole in a few days, Dan has no confidence he'll be able to get out - and even if he does, he'll have the shadow of guilt constantly hanging over him. The future looks far from bright. When Ben shows up full of the joys of pre-married life, Dan really isn't wanting to hear tales of nuptial bliss or an endless monologue singing the praises of Izzy. So when Ben raises the subject of best man and whom he'd prefer to fill that role, Dan doesn't exactly have to struggle to curb his enthusiasm. Determined to get his friend to commit, Ben presses his case home and taunts Dan with talk of a lavish ceremony and even more extravagant reception. Surely attending his wedding will also help show his detractors that Dan is determined to live his life on his own terms and nobody else's.Plot
