Synopsis
Chloe's speed-dating night proves to be a success. Abby tries to get rid of Craig but he doesn't get the message. Dan's concerns about Ellie and Toby's relationship grow.Plot
Ellie checks on Toby. Chloe, Mel and Joe decorate the front of HCC. Jodie and Nick find an advertisement for a speed-dating event. Darren finds a love-heart balloon outside of The Dog in the Pond. Cameron checks himself out in the mirror of a van. He finds a love-heart balloon, which Craig snatches to give to an unamused Abby. Jodie tells Chloe that she cannot afford the £5 competition entry fee. Chloe tells her that she met more men in Australia through speed-dating than she met in University. She tells Nick that she thinks Joe might be gay.
Craig tells Cameron that he sees that Cameron has feelings for Zara. Abby asks to meet with Craig later as she wants to let him down gently. Darren impresses the customers with his tricks behind the bar, and The Dog is nearly full. Nick flirts with Darren, who has to tell him that he's straight. Dan accuses Ellie of being unfaithful with Scott. The speed-dating event begins. Zara is furious to find that Darren is back. Abby is confused when Zara insults him.
Robbie offends a woman by comparing her to a dog. Robbie is greatly amused when Chloe sets Nick up with Joe. Nick later tells Chloe that he has fallen for Joe, and thinks that he is in the closet. Ellie worries when she can't find Toby. Dan finds Toby and confronts him. Abby is furious as Craig has chosen a film about a serial killer. Robbie continues to leave his dates unimpressed as he talks about dogs. Robbie is amused as Nick refuses to accept that Joe is straight, deciding to jump in and make things worse. Darren arrives at the speed dating again to see Mel.
Craig tells Abby that she has hurt his feelings. She attempts to apologise, but he gets the wrong idea. Dan is insistent that Toby should see a doctor, as that's how he was diagnosed with diabetes. Darren is quick to get away from Mel. Joe has taken a liking to Jodie. Chloe finds a downbeat Robbie, and decides to speed-date him. Darren tells Ellie that Toby was drunk. Dan finds the trashed bedroom, and thinks Ellie made the mess. Jodie is amazed to find Chloe making out with Robbie.Cast
