Episode 1084 is an episode of Hollyoaks which aired on Friday 12th September 2003.

Synopsis

Tony vents to Scott about Max and O.B., and finds himself unintentionally hiring someone to kill them. Craig and Josh end up having a fight after Josh winds Craig up about Steph, and Steph later suffers a seizure. Lee ruins a family dinner, whilst Dan manages to put things right with Debbie.

Plot

Dan tries to get ahold of Debbie, but she hangs up on him. Josh watches Becca walk past Drive 'n' Buy. Mandy sells her competition idea to Tony, eager to make it up to him. Tony tells Mandy that he's going to have to call the police. Abby thinks that Lee will forget her. She thinks that she has some sort of effect on people as she has pushed Lee, Steph and Zara away. Ben gives her poor advice. Tony tells Ben that he's reporting Max. Dan gets irritated with Lee continuously playing the video tape. Sally says that there's no chance that he'll return to school now. Sally comforts Dan over Debbie. Craig is angry to have not been told about Lee's performance, saying that he was Lee's manager. Craig suggests getting the band back together but Lee is adamant that he doesn't need anyone else. Steph asks Dan about Charlie and tries to make him see things from Debbie's point of view, especially after his affair with Roxy.

Mandy tells Scott that Jake must have gone to Lanzarote to see Jodie. Tony tells Scott that he's called the police on Max. Scott tells him that the police are unlikely to get the car back. Josh teases Becca over her skirt. Becca threatens prosecution. Sally advises her to come down hard on him, he's testing the boundaires. Craig defends Steph against Josh and Becca stops a fight. Ellie thinks Toby has fallen out of love with him, but Toby assures that that's not the case. Lee visits Ellie, wondering if they saw his TV appearance, which they missed. Ellie reveals that Sally has invited them over, but Toby doesn't want to go.

Craig wants to be friends with Abby but she refuses. Abby apologises to Steph and Steph is pleased when Abby says that she thinks Steph is as much of a "cow" now as she did before the attack. Tony speaks to a police officer. Dan vents to Ben. Ben reveals that he is over Izzy. Tony speaks to a police officer about Max. Mandy has managed to get a newspaper to report on her competition. A man brings Tony "a present from Max"- his bumper. He reveals that Max is in Ireland. Josh keeps winding Becca up. He picks a fight with Craig. Josh tries to use Becca's pointer to lift up her skirt and quickly gives it to Craig when she turns around. Becca explodes at Craig and gives them both detention.

Tony vents to Scott, and Scott tells Tony to make Max pay himself. Steph is pleased when Abby talks about her problems after letting Steph vent to her, instead of talking about her epilepsy. Lee pretends that his phone has been ringing non-stop since his TV appearance. Steph feels slightly unwell so she walks to the Pharmacy. Abby invites Lee over but he says that she is too busy. Dan asks Toby when he will be back at work. Ellie is annoyed with Dan for putting pressure on Toby. She is shocked when Dan says that if Toby isn't back by next week, he's fired.

Craig and Josh start fighting outside school. Becca struggles to stop their fight, and Craig is furious when Josh makes him look bad. Ellie has managed to convince Toby to go to the Hunters. Toby starts to get stressed as Ellie and Dan argue. Josh continues to make fun of Steph to Craig and Craig attacks him. Everyone cheers as they fight. Steph is shocked to see them fighting and breaks it up. When Josh insults Steph, she grabs him by the collar of his shirt, insulting him and slapping the side of his head. Steph explodes at Craig. Steph begins to feel ill and collapses. She suffers a seizure and Craig quickly puts his and Abby's jackets over her as everyone crowds around.

Lee keeps asking everyone if they want to watch the video. Lee is rude towards Toby and Toby leaves. Sally informs Ellie that there's a job at the chemist she might be interested in. Steph is embarrassed. Craig tries to comfort her. Scott winds up Ben, and Ben storms off. Scott buys Tony a drink and Tony vents about Max. Scott tells Tony that he should punish Max himself. Scott says that Tony could hire "something along the lines of private detectives". Tony would kill Max if they brought him back. Scott points out that Tony wouldn't want to get his hands dirty, so Tony says that he doesn't care if they did it for him, he just wants Max dead. Scott asks if he'd pay for this, Tony says with every penny he owns. Scott tells Tony to leave it with him. After Scott leaves, Tony realises what he's done - he's hired a hitman to kill Max and O.B.! He runs after Scott but finds no sign of him.
