Episode 107 is an episode of Hollyoaks which aired on Thursday 29th May 1997.

Synopsis

Lucy and Bazz go to the Lake District, and Bazz opens up about his worries regarding his upcoming operation. Later, he has a fall and is knocked unconscious. Ruth and Kurt join them, and Kurt worries about his impending trial.

Plot

Lucy is annoyed when Bazz is unenthusiastic about doing something. Kurt worries about court but tells Ruth that he should be doing things that he wants to do. Ruth mentions a photo she saw of Kurt at the lakes and decides to go on there with him. Bazz complains of headache and tells Lucy how the fracture in his skull hasn't repaired as well as the doctors hoped and that's why he needs an operation. Lucy worries that if he has a blood clot that travels to his brain, he could die.

Ruth and Kurt go to the Lake District on Kurt's motorbike. Lucy wants Bazz to tell his parents, but he doesn't want to. She makes a comment about life being too short and he is annoyed. Kurt and Ruth skim stones at the lake. Lucy gets the truck stuck whilst driving. Kurt jokes that Tony is annoyed about not being the first to marry.

Bazz tells Lucy that he realised he was gay when he was 11 when he had a crush on a guy in the year above. Ruth assures Kurt that they'll still be together, even if he goes to prison. Bazz opens up to Lucy about his worries about getting the operation. Lucy is horrified when Bazz tells her that he could die from a bang to the head.

Ruth finds the amount of time Jambo spends with his father weird. Ruth talks about having children with Kurt, but he thinks they'll be rushing it because of the court case. Ruth begins to get angry with how Spike has messed their lives up. Lucy and Bazz explore a church. Kurt begins to get worked up about the impending trial.

Bazz tells Lucy that he could die just like Natasha and Dermot did, and they also had their whole lives ahead of them. He asks Lucy to be cremated if he dies and asks her to spread his ashes somewhere pretty and peaceful. Lucy and Bazz are surprised to come across Kurt and Ruth. As they take a photo, Bazz slips and falls down the rock. Lucy panics as he is knocked unconscious after hitting his head.
