Synopsis

Mandy desperately tries to get Max to bring the car back, but reveals that Tony's Gnosh Village takings are in the boot. Jake is furious to learn that Debbie and Craig have distracted him so they can find his money. Abby encourages Ben to go after Izzy, whilst Ellie struggles with Toby still missing.

Plot

Ellie has a nightmare about standing on Toby's grave. Jake takes a wad of cash from a plastic bag hidden in his watering can. Max and O.B. speed down the motorway in Tony's car. Ben ignores his phone ringing so Abby looks at it, it's Emma. She winds him up over doing nothing to win back Izzy. Les tries to comfort Ellie. She was glad that it wasn't Toby's body. Lee points out that everyone thought that she was dead when she went missing, but she's alive. Les tells her how he felt after identifying a body. Ellie apologises for what he put Les through.

Craig shows Debbie a computer in a magazine, but she throws it in the bin, saying that he's weird. Debbie tries to get on the right side of Jake to make him trust her. Mandy tries to assure Tony that Max & O.B. will return soon enough. Mandy promises to sort things out. O.B. tries to convince Max to take the car back, but to no avail. Craig makes clear that he wants to take Abby out again, but Abby is not amused. She says that "we'll have to see". Debbie makes Jake think that the family think that he is right. He is unaware that Debbie is trying to get to his money.

Ben winds up Tony. Mandy lies that Max is going to bring the car back. Tony asks Mandy what she did with last week's takings. She remembers where she put them... in the boot of Tony's car! She tries to evade his questions. Lee tries to get Ben to cheer up Ellie, but he does the opposite. Max gets an angry voicemail from Mandy. Max sees a car crushing plant and has an idea. Jake tells Tony that he can't call the police on Mandy's brother. Mandy breaks the news to Tony that she left the takings in the car. Mandy receives a text from Max reading "having a smashing time"... with a photo of a crushed car.

Lee tries to comfort Ellie, but Ellie snaps at him. The crushed car is taken by a crane and thrown onto the ground in front of Max and O.B. Max takes a photo to send to Mandy. O.B. thinks they've gone too far, but Max thinks they deserve it. O.B. worries about Tony potentially calling the police, and convinces Max to send a text showing that Tony's car is still in tact. Craig sneaks to Jake's allotment where Lee finds him. Lee warns Craig to stay away from Abby. Lee figures out that Craig is hiding from Jake, so he calls out to Jake and points out that Craig is with him.

Abby points out that Emma likes Ben and has probably hurt her feelings by ignoring her. She thinks Ben should tell Emma the truth. However, Ben is in denial about being in love with Izzy. Debbie bumps into Craig. She decides to get Craig part of her plan. Abby apologises to Ben and tries to encourage Ben to fight for her. She says that she lets Craig flirt with her to make Lee jealous. Debbie knocks over a shelf and Jake works out that she was trying to find his money. Debbie accidentally reveals that Craig was in on her plan. Jake is furious and throws them out. Debbie blames Craig.

Max tries to convince O.B. that they can go anywhere. O.B. answers a call from Mandy and makes Max answer it. Mandy explodes at Max. Mandy reveals that Tony's takings are in the car. Les and Lee try to comfort Ellie, to no avail. Max and O.B. are delighted with the sight of Tony's takings. Ben finds his passport, having decided to go after Izzy.
