Synopsis
Max's feud with Tony results in Mandy moving out, and in with Tony. Sally and Ellie search for Toby to no success. Steph is hurt when Johnno blames the family's financial problems on her condition. Ben is sick of Dale's presence.Plot
Steph looks at Toby's watch. Ellie waits for and tries to get ahold of Toby, but is unsuccessful. Mandy is confused when she sees an advertisement in the newspapers for over 60s being able to eat free at Gnosh Village, and sees that the place is almost full. Debbie confronts Craig over whether or not Lee knows that he is after Abby. When Craig says that Abby is his girlfriend, Debbie asks what's wrong with her. Frankie is unimpressed when Debbie doesn't want to go into work. Johnno finally returns home to an unamused Frankie.Tony is confused as he never posted the advertisement. One of the customers points out the advertisement and they all demand food. Tony pleads for Dale's help, she warns that they could sue him. Ben is not pleased to see Dale. He says that he doesn't want to have sex with her now that she is with Will. Dale is umimpressed as a woman comes down the stairs and puts her arm around Ben, and he tells Dale that she had her chance and has missed out. Ellie visits Sally, searching for Toby. She thinks Toby has left her.
Frankie and Johnno have a blazing row. Frankie is furious that Debbie hasn't gone to work, and tells Craig that she is no longer paying his phone bill. Frankie tells Johnno that if she leaves him to sort out their financial problems again, his statue of "Elvis gets it". Tony receives a visit from an environmental health officer. Sally tries to comfort Ellie. Steph is also looking for Toby. Steph gives Ellie Toby's watch and Ellie panics. She worries that Toby may be dead. Ben taunts Dale over his one-night-stand. She gets annoyed with him.
Sally and Ellie visit Ben, asking after Toby. Sally tells Ben of Ellie's worries. Tony is wound up by Max. Mandy realises that Max has done something and furiously confronts him. Mandy furiously tells Tony that Max stole some of his takings and posted the article. Mandy tells Max that she needs to get away from him, so she accepts Tony's invite to stay with him. Mandy announces to the OAPs that Gnosh Village is now closed, so Max will now serve them at Gnot Gnosh. Sally and Ellie tell Dale about their suspicions. Ellie suggests that Toby may have gone to see Linda's ex-boyfriend, Daryl. Dale says that if she has no success, to let her know. Dale snaps at Ben. Ben continues to taunt her. She calls him pathetic. He goes to kiss her but she slaps him.
Max begs for Mandy not to leave. Mandy explodes at him. Max tells Debbie that he's docking her wages. Debbie tells Jake about Johnno & Frankie arguing. He refuses to return home to sort things out. Debbie accidentally drops her phone in the fountain. Frankie and Johnno argue. Craig arrives looking for Abby, but Ben is cold towards him. Ellie and Sally go to the house where Toby, Linda and Daryl lived. Sally struggles to comfort Ellie. Ben vents to Max about Izzy's disappearance, Max vents about Mandy. Ben tells Mandy that she isn't the person he thinks she is.
Steph overhears Johnno blame the van explosion on her illness. Jake sympathises with Steph and tries to make them see how much Steph is struggling. He calls them all selfish. Jake says that Steph will never be able to lead a normal life, and Steph walks in, revealing that she overheard everything. Steph says that he wishes the killer had killed him. She runs off. Ellie thinks that Toby is dead. Sally thinks that Toby will come back, and that he left because of Ellie still working for Scott. Ellie thinks that she drove Toby away. Sally comforts her as she gets upset.
Mandy has prepared a dinner as a thank you for Tony. Ben and Max get drunk. Ben encourages Max to get revenge, to step up his game. Jake tries to comfort Steph. Max and Ben take some chairs. Steph blames herself for Johnno and Frankie's arguments. Jake makes clear that he's there for Steph.
