Episode 1051 is an episode of Hollyoaks which aired on Thursday 17th July 2003.
Synopsis
Following Tony's shock revelation that he's spent the last six years attending the Hollyoaks stage society, it's not surprising Mandy is having a bit of trouble taking her old friend seriously. Indeed, most people would say there was quite enough drama in the Hutchinson's life already... Now, thanks to a nasty accident with a piece of scenery, the play's erstwhile leading lady has been tragically hospitalised and a vacancy has arisen within the company. Tony thinks he knows the person to fit the bill, but she doesn't seem that keen to step into her predecessors rather fateful and unwieldy shoes. Once he's managed to talk Mandy round, however, there's the small matter of dealing with a sensitive love scene that the script insists must end with a lingering kiss. What with Tony flapping about trying to get into character, and Becca turning out to be an equally hapless stage manager, will the new darling of the spotlight bring the house down or merely see stars?Plot
