Synopsis
Steph is horrified when D.I. Davies lets slip that she suffered a seizure and may have epilepsy. However, she is comforted by Craig, who shows her inappropriate photos he found of Sally. Ben tries to talk Izzy out of going to Australia. Jake is furious with Johnno as he finds the van missing. Sally and Ellie have a massive argument. Mandy and Becca enjoy a drunken night of fun, which ends with Mandy being sick over Chloe's wedding dress!Plot
Izzy spins a model globe. Frankie and Debbie arrive at the hospital, holding pamphlets on epilepsy. Ellie is left saddened when she notices Sally. Ben subtly tries to talk Izzy out of going to Australia. The doctor runs some tests on Steph. Debbie hates what they're making Steph do. Jake tells her to let them do what they need to. Becca shows Chloe her wedding dress, which has just arrived. She wants Chloe to try it on to make sure it fits. Mandy arrives and Becca tells her that there's a surprise for her.
Dan is not necessarily pleased to see Ellie. Sally tells him that the house is a "peace zone". Sally tries to pretend to be happy for Ellie and Toby but an annoyed Ellie sees straight through. She tells her how happy she is. Becca and Mandy are amazed by how stunning Chloe looks in her wedding dress. Will asks Jake how Steph is. Jake informs Will that Steph has had an epileptic seizure, and is shocked to learn that Will hasn't been informed. Will calls for a WPC to meet him at the hospital. Will tries to assure an angry Jake that they're trying their best to catch whoever attacked Steph. Jake also snaps at Craig.
Izzy asks Ben if there is anyone he would miss if he left Chester. She thinks Ben is about to compliment her, but is saddened when he reveals that he is talking about Abby. Will pays a visit to Steph. Steph recalls what happened; she was walking along the city wall, came down the steps and she fell to the floor. The attacker went to hit her again but a woman screamed which scared him away - she didn't see the man. Frankie is horrified when Will says that sometimes people remember more things after a seizure. Steph is horrified to learn that she might have epilepsy. Will tells Frankie that they're going to do everything possible - including monitoring Frankie's phone calls.
Dan and Jake drive through a run-down suburb. Sally wants Ellie to stay for lunch, which pleases her. However, Sally puts her foot in it by trying to make Sally second-guess her engagement to Toby, which angers her. Jake is furious to find the truck gone and blames Johnno. Izzy is delighted to discover that she has been offered an apprenticeship in sports psychology for the English Premier League. She informs Ben that she's going to have to cancel the trip to Australia.
Sally and Ellie have an argument. Ellie thinks Sally blames her for being born too early for Sally not having a better life. Jake gets angry about the police not catching Steph's attacker. He reveals to Dan that the doctors think Steph may have epilepsy. Dan blames himself but Jake tells him that Steph was in the wrong place at the wrong time. Debbie suggests that the seizure might have been a one-off, which proves to be some comfort for Steph. Chloe, Mandy and Becca get drunk and Mandy notices a shopping trolley, deciding to "go for a drive". Chloe gets a call from Matt as Mandy climbs into the trolley with Becca pushing. Chloe tells them that she doesn't fancy cracking her head open so soon before her wedding.
Sally confronts Craig. He tries to apologise and Sally assures him that he will be. Becca and Mandy switch places - Mandy drives whilst Becca sits in the trolley. Becca almost hits Dan's car with the trolley but he jumps in the way in the nick of time. Dan sends them away. Debbie leaves Craig and Steph to talk. Craig tells Steph that he's going to get revenge on Sally - he found some old, inappropriate photographs of her. Steph is amused and shocked by the photos.
Becca vents about Adam. She accidentally spills wine on herself and looks at the stain, letting go of the trolley down a slope. Mandy manages to jump out in the nick of time before the trolley plunges into the river. Mandy spots an attractive policeman, who she asks for his number. He gives it to her - "999". Sally is upset over her argument with Ellie. Dan tells Sally to let Ellie make her own mistakes, he thinks Ellie will jilt Toby at the altar. Ben is amused by a drunk Mandy and Becca, however Will isn't as amused. Will walks them back to the house, worried about the killer on the loose.
Jake lies that he's sorted out Johnno's problem. Steph wishes Craig luck on his revenge against Sally, refusing to tell Debbie. Jake assures Steph that everything is OK and comforts her. She admits that she's scared. Mandy struggles with a hangover. Becca tries on Chloe's wedding dress. Becca is about to be sick so Mandy goes to save the dress, but ends up being sick all over it herself. They are both shocked.Cast
