Synopsis
While Steph lies unconscious in hospital, rumours about her private life are circulating around the village - and the Deans are horrified to find they all lead back to The Loft. The whole truth about Steph's assault is taking a perilous amount of time to emerge into the open. While the victim herself remains deep in a coma, various parties are struggling to piece together the reasons behind her attack - and in the process unearthing a few grisly facts about Steph's personal ties. Both Frankie and Johnno Dean are horrified to hear of how intimately acquainted their daughter was with Scott Anderson. Nonchalantly filling them in on all the details, Debbie discloses just how Steph got her hooks into the disgraced nightclub owner. In turn, the family begin to wonder just what they did to drive her to such extreme behaviour - and which of them might actually be indirectly to blame for the whole dreadful debacle. The Dean family aren't exactly well known for their good communication skills, and sure enough their name-calling and predilection for just running about threatens to give the word dysfunctional a new meaning.Plot
