Synopsis[]
It always seems to be the way for Tony: his best intentions end up being misconstrued as the behaviour of a rather pedantic meddler, he doesn't really know when to stop, and what began as a good deed turns out to be anything but. The latest people to receive the Hutchinson treatment are his new neighbours, Adam and Becca. While Tony busies himself making sure the flat is as straightforward as possible for Adam to negotiate in a wheelchair, Adam actually rather likes things the way they are, relishing the challenge of adapting to life on his own terms. A hangdog Tony concedes that in reality he's no idea what things must be like for someone confined to a wheelchair 24 hours a day - a situation Adam is only too happy to change! Adam proposes Tony journey to the shops and back, using only his wheelchair for transport. It's a tough task, but Tony's more than willing to give anything a go - once. As he gingerly sets off, he begins to think it might be even be a case of two legs good, two wheels better...until he hits the kerb, Craig receives an expensive gift on the presumption he passed his entrance exam.
