Eddie was a man who picked up hitchhikers Bart McQueen and Jason Costello after Bart's bike broke down on a country lane in November 2011. Eddie told the pair that he was also going to Waterloo, and Jason convinced a reluctant Bart to accept Eddie's offer to take them there. However, the trio ended up in Waterloo, Liverpool and Bart and Jason were furious as Jason had written London on his sign. The pair asked Eddie to take them to London but he refused. Bart brought up that Eddie wasn't wearing pants and Eddie kicked them out of the car, calling them "freaks" as he drove off.
