Doctor Adrian Lewis was the doctor who Imran Maalik booked an appointment to see regarding his eating disorder in November 2022. Imran told Doctor Lewis that he thought Dr. Keller was distracted and overworked, leading to a misdiagnosis, also saying that he was "lean", had a "fast metabolism", and pointed out that he was a chef. Doctor Lewis told Imran that he needed to do a weigh-in before he could leave, and offered to do a blind weigh. Imran panicked and quickly fled.
Imran returned the next day after speaking with his mother Misbah. He told Doctor Lewis that he wanted hospital treatment, but Doctor Lewis warned him that he could wait months before a bed would be available for him and would have to be an outpatient until then.
After Imran collapsed upon his return to the village after running from Woodglade Wellness Clinic in Hertfordshire, Doctor Lewis oversaw his medical treatment. He also confronted Misbah over tampering with Imran's medical records to have him placed within the clinic sooner. After Misbah confessed, he advised that she resigned to avoid an investigation being launched and Imran being evicted from the clinic.
In April 2024, Misbah Maalik pleaded and begged with Dr. Lewis to give her priority to get a spinal board after her husband Zain Rizwaan had a stroke.
