Dee Valley Young Offenders Institution is a young offenders prison. In April 2019, Romeo Quinn was incarcerated at Dee Valley Young Offenders Institution after being charged with the murder of Mac Nightingale. He was later released after Donna-Marie Quinn was tricked into making a false confession. In 2021, Juliet Nightingale was sent here for a short while after confessing to her part in county lines drug trafficking. In 2022, DeMarcus Westwood was held in the institution on remand, falsely accused of the murder of Saul Reeves. In 2024 or 2025, Lucas Hay was held in the institution for assaulting JJ Osborne.
