Crazy Bazz Studs was a band formed by Carol Groves, Lucy Benson and Bazz in 1996, with Lewis Richardson later joining in July 1997. Matters were complicated by Lucy and Bazz's romantic relationship and the band nearly split several times. The group would often perform at The Dog in the Pond where they were spotted by band producer Matt Fraser. Bazz embarked on a relationship with Matt but ended up reconciling with Lucy, and the band dissolved when Lucy discovered that Bazz was cheating on her and he left the village.
