Cassandra Evans was an ex-wife of "Alejandro" (Diego Salvador Martinez Hernandez De La Cruz) who arrived at 26 Leigh Road with four other ex-wives to confront him over scamming them in September 2016. After Diego was arrested, Cassandra found Myra at Dee Valley Police Station and told her the full truth, with Diego admitting that Myra was going to be a target until he fell in love with her. Cassandra later visited Diego in prison, which ended up putting Myra off reconciling with Diego. In November 2016, Myra changed her mind and convinced James Nightingale to help her get Diego released. James discovered that Cassandra had been drinking alcohol despite being on a court order not to do so, and blackmailed her. Cassandra subsequently dropped the case and left the village.
