Camilla Bassington-Hart

Camilla Bassington-Hart is the ex-fiancée of Rafe Harcourt. Camilla arrived in the village in October 2023 after being called by a drunken downbeat Dilly Harcourt, who had taken a dislike to Rafe's new love interest Sienna Blake. Camilla introduced herself to a furious Sienna as "the love of [Rafe's] life", receiving a warm reception from the man himself who eagerly updated her on the going-ons in his life. Meanwhile, Camilla snubbed a jealous Sienna behind Rafe's back, aware of Sienna's attempts to compete with her for Rafe.

In November 2023, Rafe proposed to Camilla, instead of Sienna, to honour his late father's dying wish, which Camilla accepted. Sienna's attempts to split the couple only resulted in Rafe turning against her, but Sienna discovered Camilla seducing wedding planner Nadira Valli in Rafe's office! Sienna swiftly told Rafe (backed by Nadira when Camilla insulted her) and Rafe threw Camilla out. After Rafe and Sienna got engaged, Camilla was revealed to be an actress hired by Rafe and Dilly, who were conspiring against Sienna. After she was paid less for nearly ruining Rafe and Dilly's plan, Camilla left the village, but not before saying goodbye to Nadira and warning her not to trust the Harcourts.

In December 2023, Camilla returned and confronted Dilly, demanding more money to cover her RADA entry fees or she would tell Sienna the truth: Rafe and Dilly are husband and wife, not brother and sister, and have been conning her for months. Reluctantly, Dilly paid Camilla £20,000, but were spotted by Sienna's ex-boyfriend Ethan Williams. Camilla lied that Dilly asked to meet her to try to make amends over Rafe choosing Sienna over her, which Ethan believed, before Camilla left.
