Breda McQueen's Serial Killer Reign

Breda McQueen was a serial killer active in the village of Hollyoaks from 2018 to 2020. During this period, Breda murdered six villagers. However, Breda had been an active serial killer since the 1970s, with three known victims between then and 2018. Her reign ended in January 2020 when Sylver McQueen stabbed her through the skull with her knitting needles as she attempted to kill herself and Sylver in a fire she had started at Stone Mount Farm

When killing her victims, Breda would usually steal a button from an article of the victim's clothing. She would then knit a doll or make a teddy bear which would be wearing a jacket or shirt with the button, and gift it to the victim's child.

Breda would target men whom she believed to be "bad dads". Her murders began with her own father in the 1970s, with most murders being committed by bludgeoning victims.

Breda McQueen's Father	1970s	Breda's father was abusive towards her mother and would force Breda to watch him killing the pigs on their farm, beating her if she became upset. She would later end up shooting him in the head with his bolt gun, and fed his remains to the pigs.
Wes	25th December 1986	Breda was hired as a nanny to look after Wes's son Peter, treating his son poorly after his wife's sudden departure. As Wes prepared to give Peter a beating on Christmas Day, Breda beat Wes to death with an angel ornament and buried his body at Stone Mount Farm.
Vinnie	2000	Vinnie was the abusive husband of Breda. As Sylver McQueen defended Breda and Goldie McQueen from Vinnie, Sylver pushed him from a balcony in self-defence. Breda then murdered Vinnie.
Carl Costello	11th July 2018	Carl was the alcoholic grandfather of Bobby Costello, taking him to the United States after Riley Costello's death. Bobby's mother Mercedes McQueen kidnapped Bobby, with Breda beating Carl to death with a rock as he attempted to get him back.
Glenn Donovan	17th October 2018	Gangster Glenn's violent ways had an effect on girlfriend Grace Black and her friends, who all decided to poison Glenn and kill him. However, it was Breda who got to him first - poisoning his pint of beer.
Russ Owen	16th November 2018	Russ was murdered by Breda after Breda had learned that Russ had impregnanted Goldie McQueen during an affair, telling her that he wanted her to have an abortion (which she went through with).
Louis Loveday	22nd January 2019	Serial cheat Louis became Breda's next victim, beating him with a telephone after the revelation that he had been having affairs with Simone Loveday and Martine Deveraux (at the same time) behind Leela Lomax's back.
Mac Nightingale	21st March 2019	Abusive father Mac had blackmailed Breda into killing his son, James Nightingale. Breda, however, turned on Mac - giving him a poisoned lasagne and beating him to death with the tray.
Harry Thompson	23rd July 2019	As Harry prepared to go on the run - accused of a hit-and-run on Grace Black - Breda stabbed him with a chisel for abandoning his newborn son
