Brad King

Bradley 'Brad' King was the landlord of Maxine Minniver.

Brad arrived in the village in January 2021, revealing to Maxine Minniver (who believed that she had caught Brad's eye) that her landlady, Beverly, had gone bankrupt and he had all of her properties - including 5 Oakdale Drive, Flat 2. Brad freaked out Maxine by revealing how much he knew about her, and dropped the bombshell that he planned to increase her rent. Brad later informed Maxine that he had lied about wanting to increase her rent, and merely wanted an excuse to see her again. The pair had a date, however Brad took images of Maxine's backside without her knowledge.

Maxine's mother, Trish Minniver, arrived in the village and revealed to Maxine that Brad was her boyfriend. Brad forced Maxine to keep quiet about the affair, and Trish revealed that she and Brad were moving to Hollyoaks. Trish planned to open a dance academy in the village, and Brad agreed to invest and smoothed his way to Marnie Nightingale with his charm which led to Marnie choosing picking Trish's business over Cher Winters's who Trish was in a competition with at the time.

When Brad puts his move into action while on the phone to the departing landlady, Maxine gets the impression that Brad is cheating on Trish. Later Trish confronts Bead who plays it off that he was just selling a property Trish believes this and calls out Maxine however Brad defuses the situation by asking Maxine to move in to which she delighted by and agrees to do so.
