Blue was a drug dealer whom Rhys, Josh and Hannah Ashworth met in September 2009. Rhys took a liking to Imogen, who reciprocated his feelings. An angry Blue told Rhys that Imogen was a prostitute, resulting in a fight between the pair. Blue and Kev then kept Rhys hostage until they could find Josh, Hannah and Jamie, as Jamie had stolen drugs from them. He also threatened to shoot Rhys and Imogen, but Imogen grabbed the gun and the pair escaped.
In January 2010, Jamie returned for Hannah, with Blue in pursuit as Jamie had stolen money from him. They had a scuffle and Jamie stabbed Blue with a letter opener. After his plan to escape with an unwilling Hannah was thwarted by Darren Osborne (who was also stabbed), Blue was rushed to hospital and spent a week in intensive care.
