Ash Roy is the son of Bel and Govinda Roy, and the brother of Ravi, Leila and Anita Roy.
Ash was villainous. He was sneaky and greedy often only showing his true colours around those he deemed too, however, Ash did show he cared for his family which gave him more of a human side. During his time on the show, Ash's main storylines include a relationship with Hannah Ashworth and a feud with Justin Burton. Ash once even convinced Hannah's mother, Suzanne Ashworth. that she was having a relapse to her anorexia when he planted half eaten food in her draw. Ash showed a greedy side in business, he approached a desperate Warren Fox in May 2009 about but The Loft, however, Warren quickly told him he isn't interested.
Ash then got his younger brother, Ravi into a street fighting contests where Ravi would win money, thanks to Ravi being able to handle himself. Ash started to profit from it, Ash even pressured Ravi to fight his friend, Calvin Valentine who was also desperate for money. After a family argument things turn nasty between Ash and Ravi and Ash punches Ravi and due to a brain embolism that pops due to Ravi's excessive fighting in the past month or so. Ash manages to knock Ravi out cold nearly killing him and putting him in a coma. His family then find out what he has been up to and disown him. Ash then leaves just as Ravi comes round.
