Anita Groves is the sister of Carol Groves. They also have two younger sisters, who are twins. Anita was a zookeeper at Chester Zoo with a love for potholing and rowing. Anita met Jambo Bolton in January 1997 and took a disliking to him, although their feelings changed when Carol set them up on a double date with herself and Kurt Benson. The pair dated for a couple of months until June 1997, when Anita discovered that Jambo had been having an affair with his own step-mother.
