Aleksander "Alek" Malota was an Albanian immigrant who married Jacqui McQueen in 2007 in order to stay in the country.
Davey Thomas arranged for Alek to marry Jacqui McQueen in March 2007 so Alek could stay in England. Despite Jacqui's dismay he was willing to see it through his family in Albania. Alek begins to have a relationship with Jacqui's younger sister, Carmel McQueen. He leaves in August 2007 but briefly returns in July 2008 before he quickly leaves again.
