A Little Film About Love by Jason Costello is a special episode of Hollyoaks which aired on Thursday 10th November 2011.
It followed Jason Costello, making a film about his and Bart McQueen's journey to London so Bart could tell Sinead O'Connor about his true feelings for her.
Synopsis
Jason urges Bart to tell Sinead how he really feels, but with her in London with Gaz for the gig, it's a race against time for the young tearaways. Throughout their adventure, Bart is forced to face up to his true feelings, but there are so many obstacles in their way. Will he make it in time to win back Sinead?Plot
Jason records Myra and asks if she thinks Bart knows what love is. He next tries to convince Bart to go after Sinead to show her how he really feels, but Bart grows irritated and refuses. Jason talks about not being able to show his appreciation for Heidi, which changes his mind. Driving down a country lane, Jason notices that Bart's bike has started smoking. Jason manages to get a ride from Eddie, who is also travelling to Waterloo. Jason is amused as Eddie isn't wearing any pants, but Bart writes "weirdo" on the window.
Bart and Jason panic as they end up in Waterloo, Liverpool. They get annoyed with Eddie, who kicks them out of the car. Bart decides to go home, ignoring Jason when he asks about Sinead. Jason decides to see if any of the truck drivers are going from the docks to London. One of them - a delivery woman - is going to London, but tells Jason that she isn't a chauffeur. Jason decides to stow away in the back of the truck and Bart is forced to join him. They are horrified to learn that they are sitting amongst bags of manure.
Jason manages to get Bart to open up about his love life. Bart tells Jason that he has already lost his mother, father and step-mother, and is struggling with losing Sinead. He also admits to still being in love with 'Jasmine'. Jason says that 'Jasmine' didn't leave as she never really existed, but Sinead does exist and he can still fight for her. Bart tries to get a taxi, to no avail as he has no money.
Running across London, the pair are stopped boarding a bus by the ticket collector, who closes the door on them. Bart tells him about their journey so he allows them on. As the bus arrives in Waterloo, Jason decides to stay on. He tells Bart to make this trip about Sinead, and to let go of 'Jasmine' by deleting her text message. As he leaves Bart, Jason speaks into his camera: "sometimes love is about holding on. And sometimes, it's about letting go".Cast
